Resources

CARE Österreich has commited itself to make detailed project information and programmatic policies publicly available. CARE Österreich is foremost accountable to its primary stakeholders („project participants“) in the projects, but also to its partners, to its institutional, corporate and individual donors. This accountability includes the right of all stakeholders to have access to specific project-related and organizational information.

In addition, on an annual basis CARE Österreich subjects itself to the Austrian NGO audit and accountability certification process, the so-called „Spendengütesiegel“, which certifies that an NGO complies with a set of quality standards in the fields of acquisition and administration of donations. Since 2003, CÖ has continuously qualified for the Spendengütesiegel.

Since 2013 the audit has been conducted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
