Successive 7.8 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes struck southern Türkiye on 6 February 2023, followed by thousands of aftershocks leading to widespread damage and destruction. The affected population is about 14 million people including about 2 million Syrian refugees.
To provide lifesaving and early recovery assistance to those most affected by the earthquake in Gaziantep and Hatay provinces, South-eastern Türkiye.
1) To provide access to safe and sufficient sanitation facilities and hygiene to earthquake affected households in most affected provinces.
